Manchester City showcased their title credentials with a comprehensive 5-1 victory over Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Erling Haaland stole the show with a hat-trick, while Julián Álvarez and João Cancelo added to the tally.
The visitors took an early lead through Haaland, who capitalized on an error from Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Álvarez doubled the advantage with a close-range finish, and Haaland struck again before halftime to put City in control.
Fulham offered little resistance in the second half as City continued to dominate. Cancelo extended the lead with a stunning strike from outside the box, and Haaland completed his hat-trick with a header in the closing stages.
