After facing backlash from customers disappointed with the lack of extended size options, Canada Goose is promising to do better.

The controversy began when several women took to social media to complain about the company's limited size range. One customer, who wears a size 18, said she was "disheartened" to find that Canada Goose only offered parkas up to size 16.

"As a woman who loves the outdoors, I've always dreamed of owning a Canada Goose parka," she wrote. "But I guess I'll have to keep dreaming, because they don't make them in my size."

Another customer, who wears a size 20, said she was "outraged" by Canada Goose's "fatphobic" policies.

"It's like they're saying that women who are over a certain size don't deserve to be warm," she said.

Canada Goose has since responded to the criticism, promising to expand its size range in the future.

"We understand that our current size range is not inclusive enough, and we are committed to doing better," the company said in a statement.

Canada Goose did not provide a timeline for when the expanded size range would be available, but said it is "working hard" to make it happen as soon as possible.
