Dallas Mavericks Hit by Injury Bug
Mavs Missing Several Key Players for Crucial Game Against Timberwolves
Dallas Faces Uphill Battle With Limited Roster
The Dallas Mavericks will be short-handed when they face the Western Conference-leading Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Eight Mavericks players have appeared on the injury report over the past week, including All-Star guard Luka Dončić, who is out with a calf strain.
In addition to Dončić, the Mavericks will also be without Dorian Finney-Smith (adductor strain), Maxi Kleber (hamstring strain), and Josh Green (elbow sprain). Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle sprain) and Reggie Bullock (back spasms) are questionable to play.
The injuries have taken a toll on the Mavericks, who have lost three of their last four games. They will need to find a way to overcome their depleted roster if they want to stay in the playoff race.
